These terms govern your use of Pibu ("Pibu", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Pibu is a cosmetic skincare guidance app. It analyzes selfies and quiz responses for visible cosmetic patterns and suggests a daily skincare routine and products to consider.
If your skin has bleeding, severe pain, sudden changes, allergic reaction, or anything you're worried about, stop using Pibu for that concern immediately and talk to a doctor.
By using Pibu you agree that:
You must be at least 13 to use Pibu. If you're under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for keeping your account secure. We are not liable for activity on your account caused by anyone you give your device to.
You agree not to:
You own the selfies, quiz answers, products you add (including any product-label photo you scan), and Ask Pibu messages you provide. By using Pibu, you grant us a limited license to store and analyze that content solely to provide the app's features to you. We do not use it to train AI models. This license ends when you delete your account.
When Pibu shows how well a product fits you, or compares two products, that is a cosmetic estimate based on ingredients and your quiz answers. It is not a safety check, an allergy test, or a medical verdict. Always patch-test and read the product's own label and warnings before using anything, regardless of what Pibu shows.
Pibu can generate an image that summarizes your progress or routine for you to share. Anything you choose to export or share is your responsibility. Once you share it outside Pibu, we have no control over where it goes or who sees it.
The analysis, recommendations, product-fit indicators, and Ask Pibu answers are generated by an AI model (Pibu AI). They can be wrong, generic, or unhelpful for your specific skin. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Use your own judgment, and consult a doctor if you're unsure.
We do not guarantee:
Pibu shows product information sourced from Amazon product listings, and links to Amazon for related products. These are suggestions, not endorsements. We do not manufacture, sell, ship, or stand behind any third-party product. Any purchase you make is governed entirely by the retailer's and manufacturer's own terms.
As an Amazon Associate, Pibu earns from qualifying purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. Participating in this affiliate program does not influence which products we surface.
Delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete my account. We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pibu and its developers are not liable for any:
You use Pibu at your own risk. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to the app is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (currently $0, the app is free).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pibu and its developers, operators, and contributors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We can update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after a material change means you accept the new terms.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
